UCSF fundraiser: “Are e-cigarettes, cigarillos, and other cigarette substitutes as harmful?”

This video is embedded in the website for a joint UCSF/Indiegogo fundraising campaign to support research in the lab of Dr. Matthew L. Springer. The goal is to study smoke and vapor from cigarillos, little cigars, and electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) to learn whether they have similar harmful effects on blood vessels as those caused by cigarette smoke. This information will help the FDA determine if and how to regulate sales and public use of these various alternatives to cigarettes.
