BUSTED BANNED E-CIGARETTE CIRCULATION GANG – HELD (03) PERSONS-
SEIZED VERIOUS BRANDS OF E-CIGARETTES – ALL WORTH OF RS. 15 LAKHS.
The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad along
with Panjagutta Police apprehended three persons who are indulging in procuring and
selling of prohibited E-Cigarettes which contains nicotine. All worth about Rs. 15 Lakhs.
DETAILS OF THE ACCUSED:
1) Dheeraj, age 30 yrs, Occ: Business, R/o Jedimetla, Hyderabad.
2) S Gaurav, Age: 20 years, Occ: Student, R/o Panjagutta, Hyderabad.
3) Prem Kumar, age20 years, Occ: Student, R/o SR Nagar, Hyderabad
4) Kamrul Memon of Mumbai ( Absconding )

BRIEF FACTS OF THE CASES :-
The main accused Dheeraj is a resident of Jeedimetla, Hyderabad.
After completion of his studies he started stock market trading business. Due to Covid-
19 pandemic he got huge loss and addicted to bad habits. Subsequently, he hatched a
plan earn easy money in illegal means. Meanwhile, he came to know about the demand
of E-cigarettes in the Hyderabad and surrounding areas. As such, he contacted one
Kamrul Memon r/o Mumbai to purchase E-Cigarettes in cheaper rate in order to sell
the same in Hyderabad and surrounding areas. Further, he created ID in Instagram &
Whatsapp circulated in Social Media for availability of e-Cigarettes and started selling
E-cigarettes to the needy customers with maximum profits illegally.
Within a span of time, he became noted in the market as big seller. The accused Dheeraj
also arranged retail sellers Gaurav & Prem to sell in the market in higher rates illegally.
On tip-off information, the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team along
with Panjagutta Police apprehended the accused and seized banned E-Cigarettes. The
apprehended accused and seized material handed over to SHO, Panjagutta PS for further
investigation.
The above arrests were made by Sri. S. Raghavendra, Inspector of Police, by SIs
Sri. V. Narender, N. Srishylam, Shaik Buran, K Narsimuluand P. Sreenaiah & Staff
of South Zone Task Force, Hyderabad City along with Panjagutta Police.
