New studies show that there is a direct link between E-cigarette use and pre-diabetes which is a precursor leading to full blown diabetes. People who smoke are 30-40% more likely to develop diabetes than nonsmokers. However, new study completed at John Hopkins now shows that e-cigarette use is just as bad.
E-cigarettes contain nicotine which is known to cause insulin resistance, increasing the chances of developing diabetes. E-cigarettes, also known as vaping, has been proven to increase chances of erectile dysfunction, brittle bones, etc. Therefore, it is crucial to take all the proper stops to quit smoking traditional cigarettes and e-cigarettes as well.
